Canon EOS 50D Announced
Canon has just announced the successor to the EOS 40D: the new EOS 50D, named appropriately of course.
Now the sensor weighs in at a hefty 15.1 megapixels and claims to have the same processing speed as the previous model because of the updated Digic 4 sensor.
I’ve been using the Canon EOS 30D for the past couple years and love it. But at 8.1 megapixels, the resolution is not quite high enough to successfully submit the image to a site like iStockPhoto or print them large enough to occupy some more serious wall space. The 40D powered 10.1 megapixels, and the new 50D is ever more tempting.
